Knives
" Black Squamish "
Price: 2 800 USD

This beautiful large knife is as mysterious as my beloved trout river. It is my favored, it is pleasure just to hold it .

I used only the best available materials . Extreme effort was made so the knife has the ancient character and soul.

The name " Black Squamish " comes from my favored fishing river in beautiful mountains of British Columbia, Canada.

Knife is heavy, Bowie type, but very well balanced and it is pure pleasure using it - it takes you back in time. Back to times when Mammoths were roaming.

The leather sheath is all hand made from top quality leather and is completely waterproof.

Knife comes in custom made high quality wooden box.

The following materials were used:

  • Blade - cable Damascus forged by Gene Osborn from 3 billet composite with nickel twist. Blade is double tempered and then local tempered. Hardened to C-58 and beautifully etched and darkened. Overall length is app. 15 ".
  • Handle - very rare pristine quality, 40 000 years old black Siberian Mammoth tusk ivory . ( 24 carat ) solid gold pins.
  • Bolsters - brass cable Damascus, custom forged by Gene Osborn.
  • Leather Sheath - top quality heavy weight leather, pure silver heavy pins. Special treatment guarantees waterproofness. All hand made and hand stitched with linen waxed heavy thread.
  • Box - custom made with brass hinges, inside covered with velure fabric. Knife is laying on a pillow. On top of the box is engraved sign: Ancient Custom Works
